Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m
Weekly fees include all sick days and statutory holidays...these are paid days. Fees are
based on booked days not attendance. Refunds and credits will not be given for days
your child does not attend.
2. WEEKLY FEES
Full Time: 4 or 5 days per week
24 months to 5 years $155 per week.
Two Children: Take 10% off
Only taking in full time children at this time.
$10 each month for project supplies. We will be doing arts and crafts once a day five
days a week. Includes, a parents newsletter of what your child/children will be learning
and making in Art class.
3. PAYMENT POLICY
Parents agree that all fees for full time attendance will be paid on the first day of each
week. Drop-in fees are payable per occurrence.
Payments are late by the end of the due day after pick up and a late fee of $10.00 per day
will be charged. Payments not received by the third day will result in immediate
termination of childcare services unless prior arrangements have been made with me.
Full time and part time fees are based on booked days, not attendance, therefore parents
are responsible for fees whether child attends or not. This includes sick days, statutory
holidays and vacation time.
4. VACATION AND HOLIDAY POLICY
I will be taking one week unpaid vacation yearly while the PISD is not in session and you
will receive dates in advance so you can schedule arrangements for care. In addition, my
daycare facility will be closed the following holidays:
New Years Day ,Wednesday, February 15th, Memorial Day May 31st, July 5th, Labor Day
September 6th, Columbus Day Oct 11th, Veterans Day Nov 11th, Thanksgiving Day Nov
25th, Friday after Thanksgiving and December 24th, and Christmas Day.
(I will be closed if PISD should close due to bad weather)
A fee of $30.00 will be charged for all insufficient checks. Upon a second occurrence of
an insufficient check, all subsequent payments must be made in cash.
5. ILLNESS POLICY
Please advise daycare prior to drop off time if child will not be attending daycare due to
illness.
Parents agree that a child who is ill (ex: fever, infection, diarrhea, communicable disease, or
any other type of illness that may be passed on to others, with the exception of the common
cold) will be kept at home to protect the well- being of my family and other children in my care.
The parents further agree should a child become ill while in my care, that arrangements will
be made to pick up the child from daycare.
Children will not be allowed to return to daycare until they have been symptom free for at
least 24 hours. In some cases, a note from a doctor may be necessary due to the
seriousness of illness.
Please respect my illness policy. If a child is not well enough to go outside to play or attend
school, they are not well enough to attend daycare.
If your child becomes critically ill and needs immediate attention of a physician I will:
- Contact emergency medical service.
- Give the child first-aid treatment or CPR when needed.
- Contact the physician identified in the child’s record.
- Contact the child’s parent.
- Ensure supervision of other children in the group.
6. MEDICINE POLICY
If your child requires medicine during the day please complete a dispensing medication
form. This is required for all medication: Please remember, no over the counter medication
will be given without a note from the child’s doctor or without written permission from the
parents. Also, all medication should only be in the child’s name and in the bottle from the
drugstore.
7. LATE ARRIVAL/PICKUP POLICY
Please advise the daycare prior to 6:30 a.m. if your child will be arriving earlier or later than
the pre-arranged time.
Please advise the daycare immediately if you will be arriving later than the pre-arranged time
to pick up your child. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that children are picked
up no later than 6:00 p.m. If you are not able to pick up your child by 6:00 p.m. alternate
arrangements must be made.
Please notify the daycare if an unauthorized person will be picking up your child. Verbal or
written permission must be received before we will release a child to anyone who is not
authorized on the registration form.
In the event that a parent cannot be contacted, it is the policy of ABC…123 Daycare to call an
emergency contact should a child remain in care after 6:15 p.m.
A late fee of $10.00 per hour (or any portion of an hour) per child will apply if a child remains
in care after 6:00 p.m. unless prior arrangements have been made. This late fee is due and
payable upon pickup or prior to the next day of care.
8. TERMINATION
ABC…123 Daycare reserves the right to suspend or terminate care of any child without
notice, should it be deemed necessary for the overall safety and well being of my family
and/or other children in my care. No tuition or fees will be refunded for any reason.
9. WITHDRAWAL
Parents agree that a minimum notice of two weeks will be given for permanent withdrawal
of any child.
10. YOUR CHILD’S TOYS
Please do not bring any toys from home. A special pillow, blanket or stuffed animal may
be brought for nap times. These items may be kept in cubbies or diaper bags until nap
time.
11. PARENTS NEED TO PROVIDE
A full set of clothes, a blanket, pillow, wipes, and a cup labeled with name to use through
out the day.

I will work in conjunction with parents during potty training. If you have a method that
has been working for you, please let me know. Should you discontinue potty training
let me know and we will try again later.

14. PETS
I own a cat and have a letter from my Veterinarian stating that she is current on her shots
(also have shot records) and can be around children. She sleeps during the day in my
bedroom upstairs. The children will not see her maybe once or twice in the day. She is a
Persian and has a laid back temperament.

Daycare latest licensing inspection upon request. The parents may visit their child in our
childcare home any time during operating hours without securing prior approval. Parents

In brief, What I expect of you, the parents:
- Pick up your children promptly so that my family’s needs may also be met.
- Bring your children rested and appropriately dressed for cold or hot weather, school activities, etc.
- Please be prompt with your childcare payment.
- Most of all, please take interest in our program and talk with your child about the day’s activities.
When possible, we would love for you to join us for lunch time or snack time.
What you expect of me, your child’s caregiver:
- Lot’s of tender loving care.
- Your child will receive individual attention.
- Nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch, and snack.

- Large, fenced backyard with outdoor toys.
- I will teach spanish, sign language, arts and crafts and send parents a newsletter each month on
what projects we will be doing.

- Small motor skills practiced by cutting, beading, writing, coloring, and by participating in the above
